Edgewater Drive, the main thoroughfare of the neighborhood, is home to many unique restaurants and shops and is within easy walking distance of most of the area homes. In addition, College Park has easy access to the Ivanhoe Row area and includes an “Antique Row” and other eclectic dining options. Ivanhoe is also on the shore of Lake Ivanhoe and includes a spectacular view of downtown Orlando.

In the early 1990s a visionary group of property owners in west Orange County, Florida met and gave birth to Horizon West. In the ensuing years, with the help of talented professionals from the public and private sectors, Horizon West has become an extraordinary example of master land planning on perhaps the largest scale ever attempted. Horizon West is a master-planned community with nearly 30,000-acres, located in southwestern Orange County, directly north of the Walt Disney World resort. Horizon West will consist of 5-7 separate Villages once completed with a centralized Horizon West Town Center.

Orlando is nicknamed “The City Beautiful” and its symbol is the fountain at Lake Eola, which is located downtown.
