Bella Collina is peacefully situated in a country-like setting in the quaint town of Montverde. Known for its rare rolling hills, lovely chain of lakes and coast-to-coast running and biking trails, this pocket of Florida – an area locally known as South Lake County — is recognized worldwide for its endless wellness, fitness and outdoor pursuits. The City of Clermont is one of the fastest growing cities in central Florida and is located west of Orlando and north of Disney World in Lake County. Clermont was founded in 1884 and incorporated in 1916. It has the amenities that make it an attractive location for families, custom home building projects, businesses, commercial developments, and fitness enthusiasts. With over 14.8 square miles, Clermont is open for business and offers everything for growing families. In 2013, the city had a population of just over 30,000 residents. Some of its features include the Clermont Chain of Lakes, nearby Lake Apopka, and rolling hills which are atypical of Florida.
College Park is a community within the city of Orlando, deriving its name from the many streets in the area that were named for institutions of higher learning such as Princeton, Harvard, Yale, and others. Its close proximity to downtown makes it a highly desirable area for custom home building. College Park is about 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport and 30 minutes from theme parks and area attractions. Edgewater Drive, the main thoroughfare of the neighborhood, is home to many unique restaurants and shops and is within easy walking distance of most of the area homes. In addition, College Park has easy access to the Ivanhoe Row area and includes an “Antique Row” and other eclectic dining options. Ivanhoe is also on the shore of Lake Ivanhoe and includes a spectacular view of downtown Orlando.
Dr. Phillips is a census-designated community and an unincorporated area in Orange County, Florida. It is a suburb of Orlando and is located minutes from Universal Studios, Walt Disney World Resort, downtown Orlando, and 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport. The population of Dr. Phillips was just under 11,000 in 2010. Dr. Phillips and Bay Hill features beautiful waterfront vistas, great shopping, A+ rated schools, fine dining and some of the most desirable neighborhoods in Orlando, an area that is perfect for building a custom home.
In the early 1990s a visionary group of property owners in west Orange County, Florida met and gave birth to Horizon West. In the ensuing years, with the help of talented professionals from the public and private sectors, Horizon West has become an extraordinary example of master land planning on perhaps the largest scale ever attempted. Horizon West is a master-planned community with nearly 30,000-acres, located in southwestern Orange County, directly north of the Walt Disney World resort. Lake Nona is a 7,000-acre mixed-use master planned community on the eastern side of Orlando, just 5 miles from Orlando International Airport. Lake Nona is home to a life sciences cluster known as the Lake Nona Medical City, as well as numerous retail centers, recreational facilities, and residential communities. For fitness enthusiasts, Lake Nona boasts 44 miles of paved and unpaved trails suitable for fitness and nature hiking. With a population of over 50,000, Lake Nona is one of the fastest growing and most desirable areas to build a custom home in Central Florida.
Orlando is nicknamed “The City Beautiful” and its symbol is the fountain at Lake Eola, which is located downtown. With nearby attractions such as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World, Orlando is known as “The Theme Park Capital of the World” and in 2014 its tourist attractions and events drew more than 62 million visitors. Orlando International Airport is located about 20 minutes away from downtown. The city is also one of the premier destinations for conferences and conventions, with the Orange County Convention Center being the second-largest convention facility in the country.
Reunion Resort is a resort and master-planned community located within Four Corners in Osceola County, Florida, near the Walt Disney World Resort, and 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport. Located in Orange County, Florida, Windermere is situated 15 miles west of downtown Orlando, 21 miles northwest of the Orlando International Airport, and 9 miles north of Disney World.
Winter Garden is located on beautiful Lake Apopka, 20 minutes west of Orlando, with a population of almost 40,000 residents. Winter Garden’s proximity to Orlando and the theme parks has made it an ideal spot for living and building a custom home. Winter Garden has grown into the commercial and cultural capital of West Orange County with amenities such as the Garden Theatre, multiple Museums, and a new Art Center and the Downtown Pavilion, which is home to the Winter Garden Farmers Market. One of the most desirable places to live in Orange County, Florida, Winter Park is a suburban city just north of downtown Orlando, with a population of approximately 28,000 residents. Within the city are Rollins College (Florida’s first four-year University), private college Full Sail University, and the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, which houses the world’s most comprehensive collection of Tiffany glass. Winter Park features 70 open park spaces within its 9 square miles, gorgeous neighborhoods, golf courses, and a popular shopping district along the main street of Park Avenue. It is also known for the Winter Park Chain of Lakes, which consists of a series of six spring-fed lakes interconnected by canals.
